In regards to not one , two, or three, but four projects spread over less than a year (2017) Darren Gauthier and his crew of workers designed and constructed four projects that the city building inspector was not only impressed with but I was also. With all the snags of building and constructing cold storage buildings on commercial property in Spruce Grove and all the bylaws we encountered Darren , his engineer and their construction crew came through with 100% satisfaction to all related people. At the same time Darren scheduled the four various jobs over the season so as not to encounter the daily operation of the business, and in the end if there were any minor alterations Darren was more than accommodating to either send someone back or come back himself even if it meant after regular business hours to rectify the problem and satisfy the city inspector. The city inspector who is more than picky (of course he is just doing his job) stated in the conclusion that Premium Post does good work. Not only that but when they say they are going to be here they are. There is no slacking on the job, and as far as safety you never once saw a worker up on a roof or high wall without safety equipment on. You get nothing but professional work and also competitive pricing. Darren also admits his crew isn’t the fastest in the trade but they do more than make up for it in quality and safety. They are not at all slow. They work at a steady pace and do the job right the first time. They also have the equipment to handle the job. If they don’t have one available they soon go out and rent one. I currently have 30,000 sq. ft. of cold storage buildings and the majority of the work done by Premium Post. I wouldn’t hesitate to get them again.

From the first phone call with Darren to the final product I have been extremely happy.  The planning process was simple and easy to understand I felt like I knew exactly what was being built from the start there was no guess work or wondering what was going to happen during the build. His advice was invaluable during permit acquisition to engineering plans and even color selection. My 40×40 shop went up faster than I could have ever expected and the quality and final product is absolutely stunning. They paid attention to every detail and never made me feel like I was a bother when I had comments and questions. In June 2018, we contracted with Premium Post Structures to provide us a 42 x 60 x 16 fully insulated building with a firewall dividing a shop/living area. They were very good to work with right from our initial meeting up to final completion in November 2018.  I was onsite for much of the work and was  particularly impressed with the wall alignment and accuracy they achieved in setting the posts to square the building. They were well organized and kept the project on schedule. Any changes to the original contract price were discussed and agreed upon in signed change orders. The changes were largely driven by scope additions/deletions we requested, and were a small fraction of the original contract price. Their crews were well organized, courteous,  and we particularly appreciated their flexibility in timing of the garage door installation and completion of the interior insulation and cladding. We would highly recommend them for anyone considering a post frame construction building.

This experience has been one of the best I have ever encountered in my 46 years on the planet hands down. Premium did a top notch job on my 40 x 80 shop from start to finish. Right from the first call to Premium through today, every call was answered ,or returned promptly, the plan was executed exactly as promised, everything was transparent and done exactly as I was told it would be. From day one the boys set the bar very high, walking me through the quote, doing a preliminary site visit as per my request, and touring me through buildings they had put up in the past. The type of customer service, pride in workmanship and plain old giving a damn about the customers wants, needs and all the little things are things Premium gives the customer, but is not a common thing in today’s world anymore it seems. Every time I have a question regarding finishing the building inside, the concrete work or anything else I just call Darren and he is glad to give the advice I need. Like I always say, if you want the right answer, call the right people. Simply said, from here on out, Premium has 100% of my business, I have NEVER been treated this well in my entire life by a contractor. Just like the website says, they show up to build you a premium building at an affordable price……. so true!!!!!! All I can say is when the shop warming party happens, everyone from Premium will be invited!

We initially chose Premium Post Structures for our shop build for several different reasons: Firstly, Darren was willing to take the time to figure out exactly what we were looking for in a shop and explained the entire build process to us. He was also able to send us a complete and professional quote within a timely manner, unlike many of the other builders we had contacted. The quote came in at a very competitive price and we were always able to get a hold of someone when needed which was great. When we decided to go ahead with the build a site inspection was done with the owners to be sure everything was to be prepped properly and the building was situated exactly where we wanted it.

We were very impressed from the start of the build to its completion. The quality of work from framing the structure to finishing the interior, complete with concrete floor, was exceptional.
